Nice to Meet You!

Hey there!

I figured I would make my first blog post all about me: I'm Ellen and I live in Grove City, Ohio (about 15 min south of Columbus). My husband and I have four beautiful children; Gabe (eleven), Molly (seven), Levi (four), and Margot (three). I live in a quiet neighborhood we love, it's the kind that feels like it's from a different time. Everyone is always outside and knows each other. As thankful as I am for that, I am a country girl at heart and would love to build a house on a few acres one day.

I love what I do; so much, in fact, that I recently opened a studio dedicated to capturing some precious moments for all of my beautiful clients. ZEAL creative Studio is located in the heart of Columbus! A couple of years ago, my husband and I decided to take our Photography and Videography talents from a hobby to a business as ZEAL creative and Set Apart is a brand that we created that focuses on newborn, maternity, and milestones.

Though it has been a wild ride, I'm so thankful for all of the continued support as we pour our heart and soul into this project. My goal for Set Apart is for my clients to love their portraits and the whole process! When you walk into my studio, you will find coffee, snacks, a fun blue couch, music playing, WiFi, and a comfy blanket. Please settle in and feel at home when you are with me. I strive to achieve the results that you want out of your session. Communication is vital, so when you send in an inquiry, expect to get a call from me!
